Mission Statement

​The Mission of the Good Neighbors Shoppe is to:


• Operate a resale store to receive and distribute donated goods by selling at low cost to families. 

 

• Coordinate and respond to referrals of needy families from other Non-Profit agencies of Loudon County at no cost to the families.

• Use all monies earned after expenses for the community through the guidance of the Board of Directors. 

 

• Participate with scholarship recipients to help further education to low income family students

Community Recognition

In 2022 the Loudon County Chamber of Commerce named theGood Neighbors Shoppe the"Non-Profit of the Year" and awarded the Shoppe a recognition plaque along with a monetary reward.  The Chamber said the Good Neighbors Shoppe exemplifies best practices in non-profit management with a resulting positive impact on the lives of Loudon County residents.
